Megan Young shares the secret to her enduring relationship with Mikael Daez
Megan Young revealed that having an open communication is the secret to her enduring relationship with her boyfriend of eight years, Mikael Daez.
In an interview with select GMA reporters, Megan said that she and Mikael talk about everything and anything, including the concept of cheating.
She recalled, "For [Mikael] and I, when we first go out together, ang pinag-usapan talaga namin: 'O anong mangyayari sa 'tin 'pag isa sa 'tin mag-cheat,' at least dun pa lang open na kami."
Megan also shared that they've discussed the consequence if either of them cheats. "Sa 'kin break na 'yan 'pag ganun."
She added, "If you're putting yourself in a situation na nagseselos 'yung partner mo, then you already setting yourself up for cheating kahit na wala kang ginawa kasi you're making yourself uncomfortable.
"Kung 'di mo masabi sa partner mo na ginagawa mo 'to, then maybe re-think about doing it."
Megan also pointed out that growing up with Mikael is a plus for their relationship.
She shared, "We saw the ups and we saw the downs of our personal lives, and we help each other.
"It's not every day that that you have somebody to grow up with kasi I have friends, siyempre, that meet their partners later on in life.
"So I would say [Mikael] and I have met each other at the perfect time of our lives, and we were good for each other at that time," Megan noted.
The 28-year-old actress continued, "As we grew up, we grew together, and we learned how to go with the flow of each other."
